It feels like cut/neck down’ed 50BMG or 416 or some case like that from the very beefy flat rim. Bullet has a ballistic tip, so at least a 22 I think, although could be a 17 without a reference point.

Let’s keep this game to an actual workable cartridges, please. Otherwise I’ll start hammering 22 pills into 44 primer pockets and call it the buttendexpress and nobody will guess it.
OK, it is a workable cartridge and was built for a semi auto rifle. The projectile sits on a flat piece that they call a piston but doesn’t look like one. And it scoots along at a nice 2600 fps.
If no one can get it by the end of the day I will put up another one.
Oh and all of the guesses were wrong.
Forgot to mention that overall length is the same as a 7mm Mauser
