You can still get them in small numbers but most make them from the parent case which is readily available .
I thought they discontinued this in the '90’s?
@no1mk3 , Winchester stopped in the early 90’s but you can still find ammo , found some loaded with 60, 75 85 and 87g projectiles.
OK, to make it easier the cartridge can be fire in either a carbine, lever action and a handgun.
Firearms were made by a couple of manufacturers who have since stopped making them. One manufacturer who had a custom shop were also making them until they closed in 2010.
Now they are only offered as a chambering by custom manufacturers of single-shot firearm barrels.
OK, it was designed/made in America in 1960 and was designed for small game and varmints.
A factory load shot from a pistol with an 8.5 inch barrel had a muzzle velocity of 2350fps.
