Wondering if anyone has experienced a case feeder jam like this:

I have solved it, will post update later, but wondering if anyone hit this snag and how you managed it?
Looking at it, I would have tried adding another washer under the plate as my first attempt to fix. Then Id curse a lot, drink more beers, try something else, break it, buy a new one and for some reason it works. Problem solved.
