The Wednesday protest was wild. I was watching it from the window at work.
Genuinely some professional protesters though. I recognised one of the names quoted in the media as someone I went to school with. They were a serial malcontent at uni, and were practically protesting about something every week.
They were also very anti-weapons though, so I guess that’s stayed consistent.

I think most of the in service weapons have warheads that are in the low 100s kilotons. Just the missiles carry up to a dozen warheads that split up at the destination. So one would be enough to severely damage a big city.
There’s 12 000 odd warheads in the world and 88% of them are owned by USA and Russia so more than enough to take care of Melbourne
I think a worse fate for Victoria would be to not nuke it and let it keep going the way it is!
