Common barrel thread sizes

Not that the subjects of the Australian Govt are trusted to have a can! But some might find it a useful resource when buying other muzzle devices online cheers.

COMMON BARREL THREAD PATTERNS

It can be very difficult keeping track of all the different thread patterns for all the various gun barrels on the market today. Below is a reference guide for the some of the more common thread patterns for factory shipped barrels. These patterns may not apply to aftermarket barrels or if you had the barrel threaded yourself.

Here are some abbreviations used in explaining thread patterns:
M=Metric (M13.5X1 means these numbers are metric instead of standard)
LH=Left Hand (M13.5X1 LH means the thread pattern is backwards and threads on the opposite direction)
RH=Right Hand (M16X1 RH means the thread pattern should be the same as usually expected)
TPI=Threads Per Inch
