Always wanted one of these and finally picked this up yesterday afternoon. Magnum Research Desert Eagle in 50AE and stainless as well so my wife likes it cause its “Shiny”. Purchased a S&W 500 Magnum 8 3/8" revolver as well but wont have it for a couple weeks due to the importer being closed. Neither the 50AE or 500 will be for shooting as they have been acquired on my collectors license. Purely safe queens and hopefully they increase in value over the next 15-20 years, if not then meh at least I own them.
Bloody JS has been hounding me for ages to be a more productive member of this community lest my Plinkfest privileges be revoked. I couldn’t deal with the loss of those special alone moments with Austac nor the memory of a person taking a dump in the forest as seen through a thermal imager. The DE50 is cool but kinda sux cause now I’m not happy about the other 2 being black instead of S/S 
The 500 should rock up in a week or so and I’ll post pictures here first, just to keep JS onside. I’m not concerned that I can’t shoot these as it’s 2 less to clean and I can shoot plenty 50AE & 500Mag in Mildura when down that way.

I am genuinely interested, why on collectors. Since you can shoot them, in terms of being properly licensed? So why on collectors, rather than general H?
