Fun fact, if you ever look at a product in the supermarket and it’s source says “Korea”, you can go the supermarket’s website and find out which Korea it’s from.

Most of the seaweed products sold at Woolworths are from North Korea which amuses me.

Fun fact, I actually quite like dried seaweed, so fuck you! Now I have to check labels and avoid gulagweed! Thanks for that!

I think most of the others are from the South. I’m really surprised stores here are even allowed to import from North Korea.

Were they on discount or something lol? I know Asians love buying discounted stuff bulk, especially stuff they’re going to need to get down the line anyway.

No not any great deal. This was at Aldi and Woolies.
I buy mine at Costco, still using some from 3-4 years ago.

I think this is another panic buy.

Probably because of the Victorian government’s announcement today about going back to stricter restrictions.

I reckon you are right.

Well… got half way up the driveway after a 10hr day in the kitchen to find a good size Blackwood over the track and no saw to hand (thank f*$#).

So got out, left the car where it was and walked the last 700m home in the light of the full moon.

Best little after work unwind in ages. Better than just getting home and having a beer. I’ll head down in the Ute in the morning to clear the track.

Only problem is our batteries are rooted and now I’m sitting here listening to the dulcet tones of the generator! Ahhh, the serenity!:woozy_face:

Blackwood wattle? Be sure to mix it with other timber if you use it in a stove or coonarah. Burns really hot, cost me a new top plate on a stanley range to find that out.

All good mate. Been burning it for 8 years now and people think I’m a freak that my wood shed is sorted onto 4 different timber types…:+1:

Finally got off my arse and cleared the track!

Cars still where we left them… half expected one to be flattened by another Blackwood that looks like it is on borrowed time.
