Good to know. I figured they’re $450 from Claremont with sling, bayonet etc but then add another $180 for postage and $50 for transfer.

This was a 1943 Ishevsk for $500 straight up, no accessories but factory refurbed at some point (great bore and bluing) and can, according to the previous owner, hit gongs out to a kilometre.

Shellac is flaking off so might redo the stock at some point. Who knows!

You redo the stock and its immediately worthless. Clean it and keep it as is. Just don’t fuck with genuine milsurps. Geez.

If you guys ever get up here to the NT in the dry season, make sure you check out the Field & Game Clay Target Club at Mickett Creek. They’ve done heaps of renovations over the last couple of years. 5 stand, elevated skeet, new seating stands. Its a really cool little bush club. All volunteers as usual.
