Been a bit sick the last week just feeling crap and a runny nose. This week it is the missus turn but she is really feeling crook and running a bit of a fever. Just for giggles we ran a covid test that was still sitting on the kitchen bench. Without hesitation the kit turned to positive. Dont know where or how we picked it up again but will be careful who we are around for the next week or so.

Sure is not worried about my immediate family but it nearly killed my dad a few years back. Not willing to go through that again if I can help it.

Its funny when you just get a cold but for a lot of people who couldnt breath not so funny. I am not on the complete over reaction side. There were places that were completely overwhelmed with sick and dying people remember Italy then even the US with dead being buried in mass graves.
Different strainā¦ Not comparable.
Had it twice, I donāt recommend it, but it definitely wasnāt worth bankrupting the country for.

@bentaz just realised your tag pic is the patron saint of artillerymen saint barbarra. i had 13 yrs in launceston reserve 16 field battery a long time ago. as bombadir of f gun took 105 howitzer to stoney head and banged off. lots of fond memories from those times.

I did a year with 38FD BTY reserves in Geelong and had fun with the M2A2, then I went Regs. I was at A BTY for almost 3 yrs, then got posted to OP SPT (HQ) BTY at 4FD for 5yrs up in Townsville before being Med discharged with a fucked back.

@vincerli also I spoke to Greg Pill, he said he has one Star with no mag, well a local club does anyway, heās going to talk to the club secretary and get back to me about it.
