I thought Russia was just going to destroy the joint with everyone in it, but instead they are destroying the joint and when there’s nothing left they ask the people to vote if Russian or Ukraine to look after them from now on. Democracy!

Yeah, the exodus.

All those “patriots” so keen on the war when someone else was doing the fighting are having a sudden change of heart now they get to find out it’s not like playing COD.
Funny that.

I don’t think it’s that linear to be honest.

True, it’s hard to judge a totally different sort of society on the other side of the planet from our societal viewpoint.

There’s also the fact that they are spoon fed the “party line” from state controlled media to consider.

I obviously can’t guarantee the veracity of the intercept below but it does, perhaps, give an insight into the Russian mind.

Sounds like most western governments also.

We do have some independent media though, Vlad the Defenestrator has eliminated all media outlets who don’t peddle his brand of maskirovka.
Big difference.

That said, as the old adage goes, “the first casualty of war is truth”

“WHAT DO I REALLY KNOW?”

Its a hell of a question these days, because we know everyone (every single one) has a bias to some degree (some will swear they are viased toward truth) and we are left to try and sort it out with our own biases coming into play.

IM GOING INSANE MAN!

These f*cking governments. I can’t take it anymore. Imagine spending $20k on CCTV to keep your staff and customers safe, only to have some barely employable pen pushing midwit from the filthiest government deparment (licencing) tell you that you now need to keep a daily logbook of the CCTV operating condition, submit an action plan and bascically fellate the whole department until they say stop. &$@#%&!

I have a massive dislike for gov at the moment, getting involved in areas they don’t need to.

I wonder if the “unlicensed” s&w revolver used to be a police revolver?

Shot himself in the head and missed. I feel like he wasn’t committed to the game. And cops never used stainless guns. I may have missed some sarcasm.

Useless bastard…Couldn’t win the game, then couldn’t even lose properly.

Don’t think the one in the picture is the actual firearm involved.

Yeah it looks too clean.

I love how PP said the rewrite of the laws will make it harder to “retain” unlicensed firearms, it is already illegal to retain them. How are the cops going to know who has them and then if they do know who has them why don’t they go get them now as allowed in our currently “out dated” law.

You blokes just don’t get it do you?
By making the laws stricter it will scare the crooks into obeying them, simple.
Gun control logic at it’s peak.

Hmmm, “50 year old firearms legislation”… wasnt the NFA in 1996?

Correct, The last major reprint was 2015. It is nothing like it was in 1973.

All the minor stuff like adding FPO’s and increasing fees happens much more regular
