Perfect time for another referendum on binning the GG.

Bloody oath mate!

And yet, we are getting to witness some amazing events in history…

All politicians, public servants who are on royally good incomes should look at Queen Elizabeth’s level of service to her taxpayers and ask themselves if they should be doing better.

Totally agree. She did really well at holding her purse and we should ask ourselves how we could improve on that.

Yeah, I’m not a Royalist but she was an incredible woman. That thing about having anyone you could to dinner, she’d have been my pick.
I had the chance to travel to England and work in her stables when I was 17, always kicked myself for not doing it. Would have actually been working with Prince Phillips harness horse team but still…

Probably not a shock to anyone but power prices are probably about to go nuts and the gov is getting things in place. Good and bad, good that at least they recognise people that need help but bad because it is their stupid policies that are causing the increased cost.

What use would that be? They don’t record serial numbers or keep registers AFAIK

Maybe they do it under state laws but I thought federally it was illegal.

I assume you’re talking about the Ruger part?? Pretty sure Ruger would know where they send their guns so would possibly help tracking a firearm to a degree even in a country without a registry, at the very least it would provide a serial number to the forensics which i guess is better than a poke in the eye. If it was a gun that ended up here for example it would lead them straight to the owner if it was a legally obtained.
It was a fair while back when i heard about it but I recall they were claiming something about being a moral and upstanding gun maker and were trying to help with “gun crime” or something like that. You could always email them & ask them why they do it & how they think it helps and get the facts straight from the horse.

Yeah sorry I should have linked the post. Here’s a little google research

The world record longest range bullseye has been broken.

Now 4.4 miles.

Yeah, fucking love this sort of bullshit.
Set some impossible shot up and just keep doing until successful then claim a miracle.
Whether it’s a gun or a basketball, if you have enough attempts you will succeed. Of coarse you only post footage of the successful attempt on YouTube!

Well, it’s not like they tried to claim being legendary one shot wonders though, is it?

I couldn’t have done it in 169 shots, and neither could most shooters I imagine.

It’s statistically likely you could.

I went to belmont ssaa range years ago with my brother wholived in Brisbane and there were all these blokes shooting groups at 50m with centre fire rifes n shit. I walked a gong out to the 200m line and walked a .22 out on to the target. It sook most of a box to get on target but then it was pretty easy.

50m with a centrefire  got to love that type.
You can see them afterwards, drinking their nearbeers and reminiscing on what snipers they were.

It would have been much more impressive if they’d shown they could repeat that 7,000m shot once they’d dialled in that’s for sure.
