The scourge of modern society. Having to put up with your kids all day!
Count yourself lucky. I was reminded last week that I was in class with Dan Andrews…
Now that I know I can’t see why I didn’t recognise him.

I hope you stole his lunch!

Business as normal up where we are. Absolute pain for the teachers and students up here who have to travel to and from NSW every day.

I think Dan made the right move with locking Melbourne down but I guess that is easy to say considering I don’t live there. I’m torn on the remote schooling. No teacher I know enjoyed it or thought it was as good as face to face learning, but at the same time, I wouldn’t be happy being in classroom with 28 14 year olds in Melbourne at the moment either. Also easy to say as I don’t have kids of my own and so am only looking at it from one point of view.

If I have to home school again I’m not!
Yes kids it’s holidays again, yay!

Fair chance that other states are only a week or two behind Vic. Just when I thought I would get but up to my hunting properties too. Here is hoping it is contained soon. Absolute pain in the proverbial.

All good over here in god’s land, it’s just the states east of the boarder that is being zombified.

I thought religion was outlawed in socialist republics?

Well Qld ok at present however time will tell. Think I’d prefer QLD with Covid restrictions as opposed to the USSRWA anytime. As soon as there is an outbreak the Gulf and Cape York will shut down again. Damn you Victoria

Don’t get me wrong, Vic has arguably the best firearms laws in Australia. If your weather Wasn’t so shite I’d be down there in a heartbeat. No where near Melbourne though. That place is the pits. Country Vic is absolutely awesome though. Much the same as Brissy is to regional Qld.

Yeahhhh… But I like being walking distance from everywhere, have good internet, not have to worry about roadkills or bushfires; or have have fresh doughnuts delivered to my door  No, I much rather a city.

I’ve lived in both. I think if I had the choice on anywhere I’d go one of the big regional centres. Ballarat or Bendigo.

@juststarting Can’t you computer nerd from home though?

Don’t have to much to say about WA firearms laws as i still don’t know the in’s and outs, have enough on my plate to deal with at this stage, new apprenticeship and all, but from a few things i was chatting to with a copper yesterday it’s not all doom and gloom just yet

Yes and no, need access to people a lot of the time, although covid has really re-defined it. Type of stuff I do though, companies are generally in CBD locations and won’t consider 100% remote work.

Re: WA gun laws, my offer to help you is still on the table mate, I will give it a good and loving home. it will be adored and in familiar settings. It will visit @bentaz and be around familiar people. Have a heart!

Once you get your head around them they are workable. it is a problem when you want more than 1 firearm in the same caliber or calibers close together like 303 and 308 etc. Then there is the wait time for approvals and of course the cost lol… Won’t scare you anymore, otherwise you won’t go to sleep.
