Aldi are selling their cast Iron skillets starting next Saturday (In Melbourne)
They are cheap at around $15 and once seasoned properly are as good as any other modern cast Iron skillet - albeit a touch heavy.
I bought one last year, then bought four more to give away after I used mine.
If you haven’t used an old fashioned raw cast Iron skillet this is a very cheap way to get started.
Vintage ones are best, but are normally around 9" or smaller, these are around 12", which is more useful.
