Adler B-230 review

Talking to my local gum shop today, he refuses to sell the Berika and other straight pull 12g new to market shotguns. Reckons they are having all kinds of problems, people bringing them in to him asking for help, but says its cost him a lot of sales. He sells the Adler and Dickinsons and has had no issues. The young fellas go nuts over the Berika10 round mag on paper, but it constantly hangs up in practice.

Food for thought.

Well Lucky 13 have beaten you too it and have come up with this…

It is for the B220 but I don’t see why it wouldn’t’ fit the B230.

B220 Pistol Grip Adaptor

  • Pistol grip adaptor for Adler B220 series straight pull shot gun.
  • Accommodates standard M4 pattern accessories including pistol grip and buffer tube extension for collapsible butt stocks.
  • QD Sling attachment points for both LH/RH configuration.
  • High Grade Billet Alloy Construction
  • Mil Spec Black Finish
  • Does Include Grip, Stock, Tube Or Castle Nut. This is the adapter only.

NEW $109

From Cleavers.

It’s not 230 though… Like I said a few times… Adapter will work, they are the same. Grip, unconfirmed.

They need to make one that brings the line of the stock up in line with the bore, it would make it a heap more shootable. This is still the main thing that the Berika has over all the others.
Not only does it look much better but it makes for a better handling gun, with recoil coming straight back into the shoulder with much less muzzle jump than these more traditional shapes.

Having shot @juststarting’s Adler yesterday I have to say that I was very impressed with the fit n finish and overall performance especially for the price.

Does that mean that there is one making its way into your safe in the near future???

I still really like the look of the berika, I need to get my hands on one before I decide, but it’ll have to be pretty good to justify the almost double the price.

I’m quite torn, Adler works great and looks cool (this is a toy not a tool so looks count) but the berika looks cooler and has 10 rd mags available.
I really font know which way to go?

Buy them both end of problem. :upside_down_face:

Mate, it’s pretty obvious you want a Berika. Don’t second guess yourself and don’t settle. Get what you want, there’s no reason or logic to taste. You want what you want, so get that, or every time you handle Adler, you’ll wish it was something else. Go with Berika.

Why not get the Berika and also a tube fed Adler, it’s slightly different which can fill that little gap that’s left over.

I think JS is right I like the Berika more, might order one and then get it ceracoted Greens green, then get some triangle stickers made along with Sam Lee and shoedicks autographs to put on it!

I see rebel have these for almost 100 bucks less than ive seen anywhere else.

That seems to be the going price for the tactical model.

has anyone confirmed if Remmington adaptors will work with the B220? I missed the boat with the Lucky 13 ones now theyre out of business.

M4 stock adapter’s? Cleavers and a few gun shops had them

So after looking at @DJAGR_ARMS post (Adler B220 has come leaps and bounds) I thought to myself, hrmmm…

I have B230T and I have an SHS which has the same furniture as B220 in @DJAGR_ARMS post, so let’s have a looksie.

The bolt was too long, but I had a spare and trimmed it a little bit…

Fully tacticool.
