What reference did you find to indicate flat shooting?
I looked up my 4th volume of the 3rd edition of encyclopedia of guesstimates, under the ‘this looks like a big case and a small bullet’ section.

Awesome thanks…i like it, because it would fit in a Martini cadet, and 30-30 is the parent case…Not as economical as the 218 bee, or 22 Hornet however…
