What's everyone up to for ANZAC day?

Going to the dawn service followed by the parade in Mt Beauty. Then start drinking beer and watch the footy.

A memorial shoot at the range, after a Service at 11 led by one of the current or former Servicemen in the club. The whole day and all funds raised going to Legacy. Whatever you get up to, enjoy it, for many gave it to you by giving all they had, Cheers.

Yeah and one that can be lost quickly :slightly_smiling_face:

Make the effort to get to at least one dawn service whether is raining, cold or otherwise. All those Australian soldiers who have died in all wars deserve some respect. They died for you and our country.

Lest we forget.

I’ve been to a few…

I’m going to be slack too. Just watch it on TV then pack and head away from home for a few days for work again.

Hmm some people have to work. :disappointed_relieved::disappointed_relieved::disappointed_relieved:such is life. Worked Easter…I work everyday.

I had loaded some TB loads for the 308… but they were too loud so only shot a half a dozen

What’s work, @Gunmut?

Went to the local dawn service, as always. My great grandfather was in D company, 10th Battalion, and was amongst the first on the beach, he was badly wounded and also saw action in France once he had recuperated.

I’ve been pissed since 11.00am this morning. Quite emotional were the services at ANZAC Cove and Villers-Bretonneux on the TV. The local one was good but very early…and cold. Small sacrifice compared to what the ANZAC’s went through.
