What are you shooting in 8mm homez?

I decided on a Lee single stage kit. Very basic so I could learn and control the process. I was lucky to get some ADI AS50N powder on loan which others had been using for 9mm loads. According to ADI it’s equivalent to their AP450.

Got some data and started at min. load, currently settled on 2.9grn and 135HP proj. Did up 300 rounds last week and they seem pretty good. Developed a Ganglion cyst so I might have to look at a fancier press in the near future. :joy:

@juststarting Spanish Air Force M98, you’ve shot it before.

@MangoBombs , maybe you just need a comfier knob?
I know reloading bulk pistol ammo gets tedious though on a single stage.
Glad to hear your getting into it mate. :+1:

Not a bad suggestion bents. And I’m much, much too mature to mention the double entendre. :innocent:
I don’t mind the actual reloading, I put on a podcast or an album and get lost in the process.
I don’t really like how much time it takes up however, if that makes sense. Still have to optimise it a bit more I suppose.

If you’re not looking to spend Dillion type money, the Lee pro 1000 is usable.
I used one for 38 spec for a bit, I gave up on the primer function, but still, usable.

Here you go, just splitting this up

That’s a good cast bullet powder…06H

It’s basically universal, I use it on everything from .222 to 8mm and 303.
I like just having one powder that does everything

Not reloading reloading, but I’ve finally caved and picked one up.

That’s one tiny ass compressor…Still cool though

I don’t need a big of fancy one. $150 with bunch of accessories and 3 year warranty, seemed like a good deal. I’ve been using cans of air to blow shit out of reloading equipment, this is definitely a step up.

Don’t worry it’s not a compressor pissing competition lol, and TBH I really didn’t know they made them that small for household/240v ones. It’ll definitely be a handy bit of kit.

Nearly bought one of them a few weeks ago. I already have a large compressor but that is the problem with it, it is not that portable. In the end I bought a hand pump I just needed to put some air in the pressure vessel for the pump for house water.

Not sure if I’ve posted this photo before, a batch of .500 s&w mag that alot of the fellas on here helped with with - quite a while ago now some of you may even recognise the reloading bench :stuck_out_tongue:

I recognise that bench mate

Been thinking about adding one of these inthe void between the back stud wall and the roller door. Ther switchboard is in there so I could keep the compressor in there with power and just have a tap through the wall in a couple of places.

How many watts is the electric motor?

I’ll have to take a look.

Is that an ADI tub next to it and is it the 1.5kg trail boss size?
Just thinking of size comparison
