Shit, i better not take a wide shot pic in my shed then. A heap of stuff that works but i have had to make do with certain stuff.
Yeah, 140’s. Moving to 147’s after the next 200.
Below is some testing with 147, 41.5 ar2209 and standard coal of 2.800.
If you want some 147’s to test, let me know and I can send you some.
I have a few here
Cheers, but I’ve got 300 of them already.
My reloading consists of committing to a bullet first and then making a load thats acceptable for the task.
Yep, been there with with 1873. Those buggers look identical.
Bit quiet over here so decided to do something constructive.
Did some casting and coating for my 32-20
110 grains of goodness coated in Hi-Tek Black Cheery.
They look red in the photo but are nearly maroon in normal light.
Now to do some reloading and testing on the weekend
Nice one mate. I cast fishing sinkers but that’s about it at this stage. Casting and coating ones own projectiles would be quite satisfying I’d reckon. Well done mate.
I actually find it quiet relaxing and enjoyable…
You should relax & enjoy yourself more and pump out a few thousand rounds for me each month. I’m only interested in your well being and good mental health…honest i am.
I am glad someone is looking out for me, I need all the help I can get in my twilight years lol.
this has been somewhat idle… Found a tub of artisan slugs, cast by his shotguniness @bentaz, so I thought I’d quickly load those suckers for some shoulder abuse.
In case anyone wonders, just my usual 7 1/2 clay shells, cut, shot removed, slug inserted and roll crimped. Slugs are a tad too big for the wad, but whatever… I load all slugs that way LOL
Haha I have a dedicated cast bullet Isreali Mauser too! It’s my favourite rifle! I love shooting subsonic cast in it, it’s just so much fun! The full size military rifle, that’s more fun to shoot than a 22!
You guys are a bad influence. With the recent massive spikes in factory ammo prices, and a letter for H class on its way, I decided it’s finally time
Come down the rabbit hole, it’s warm in here.
…and we have cookies
Your first priority now is to stock up on primers.
Primers from what I have read elsewhere are the one big common denominator of hard to get reloading supplies. So if you do see some available at a not too outrageous price buy them on the spot.
I hope so…
The last straw was being asked to pay 3 x what I was paying for 25-06 rounds, and double what I have been paying for 223. Fark that
