Perspective of a Brand New Shooter

Ah sorry! I was waiting til I’d completed the next step before updating  I’ve applied for the next available safety course in my area, but it’s a 3 month waiting list :frowning: so it’ll be a little while yet I think, but still very much in progress!

Still no idea on first purchases. Probably won’t be for quite a while since I’m in a rental and likely will be moving again soon; a safe at home might not be practical. Eventually, a .22 seems like a logical choice to start with, but it all depends on what I can get and how much!

Good to hear.

As for guns you can always "borrow " a few from a certain shooter who might not miss 1 or 2.

As @juststarting said mate there are options, (club guns etc…)
Also, if you have to wait a little for a “free” safety course, so be it…
And, don’t forget the very generous offer that if you prefer , hand funs to let him know… BTW… and @1Fatman 's " borrowing" theme is cool with me once you get a safe etc…
