Say hello and introduce yourself :)

Hi Wombat here.
Mid 50’s bloke living in Eastern Melbourne. Been into shooting and firearms since I was a small boy apart from a hiatus after the PAM backlash. I’m into older motorcycles, cars and watches.
Hopefully I’ll be able to contribute something of value here.

Welcome mate, with that many years experience I’m sure you will be a valuable member.

Welcome aboard.

Where to start… the name is Kim, I am a grumpy old 50ish with a very warped sense of humour that has come to put some clarity in the forum :sunglasses::sunglasses:. I have been looking around and it seems that I am the only non Mexican here:laughing: that is I am from WA… yeah I know the backward, nanny state. I have been shooting since I was 10 and haven’t stopped since. Due to our lovely laws I don’t have as many toys as I would like, current line up is Marlin 22 magnum, Remmington 32-20, Ruger 22-250, Carl Gustav 6.5x55 and a Sako 30-06. They pretty much cover everything that I want to shoot. Recently started pistol shooting so will be adding some more toys to the safe.

Welcome to the free world mate.
I’d love to here more about that 32-20 and see a few pics

G’day all. I’ve had limited exposure to shooting since I was about 5, but I now have my license, living in the Bendigo area, and getting all the information I can. I’ve got a 303-25, and getting set up with reloading gear with my brother and father. Stuck with renting at the moment so the rifle and gear stays in Melbourne with the family, but if anyone has any tips and tricks for me I’m all ears. Thanks

@Ats3 Gday mate and welcome.
First tip- buy a safe that weighs over 150kg if your worried about bolting one down in the rental.
Even though you should have no trouble bolting it down discreetly somewhere in the house on shed.
A man shouldn’t have be separated from his guns like that.

@Ats3 welcome aboard, you will find plenty of tips and tricks here. Great bunch of blokes with a wealth on knowledge.

Welcome @Hunting99, why not say hi and introduce yourself.
Check out the games

And ask any questions you have.
Cheers mate :+1:

Gidday. Old, fat insomniac here. Raised a bush pig so been around weapons most of my life. Been bludging off friends for my shooting fix but recently finally got around to getting a license again. Wife joined me so now I need a bigger safe already. Mainly enjoy break actions, no idea why, but the little badger and the CVA Hunter in 45/70 satisfy my needs at the moment.

Welcome, @butterfly! Make yourself at home and start posting

Nice choice with the CVA, I have its older grandma a 45-70 H&R, love it. And awesome that your wife shoots too. Where are you from?

Welcome aboard @butterfly.
Got to be happy that the wife is on board, good reason to buy more guns :star_struck::star_struck:

Welcome Keith. I started going backwards, to black powder, but cartridge ammunition. Now I’m thinking I need a front stuffer. Also, welcome aboard!
